Obituary of Robert Hearty

Life Legacy Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 83 years. Beloved son of the late Joseph Hearty and the late Viola Cleary. Cherished brother of Lloyd (Marilyn), Gweneth (Ken O’Leary) and Francis (Carol). Predeceased by brothers William, Leo, Bert, Darrell, Donald and Thomas and sister Isobel. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Vinton, Quebec. Donations to the St. Elizabeth Steeple Fund would be greatly appreciated. He was a life lived to the fullest. He was the rock our family rested upon, the well we drew our courage from, and the source of our collective sense of heritage. His loyalty was unwavering. His commitment was unequivocal, and his devotion to those he loved was boundless. Generosity and kindness defined his personality. In years to come, when you hear an Irish folk song, remember the bright blue eyes, the broad smile, the infectious laugh and the spririt of a true gentleman. Robert Michael Hearty, you will be dearly missed But never, ever forgotten.
