Obituary of Gladys Cote

Peacefully, at home in her sleep in her 96th year. Beloved wife for 78 years of the late Pierre Côté. Daughter of the late Jimmy Proulx and Sophie Jean-Marie. Much loved mother of Gérard (Bonnie Coyle), Emile (Kathie Ross), Annette (late Jean-Guy Marcotte), Hélène (Claude Marcotte), Irène (André Marcotte), Henri, Fern (Greg Leach), late Jeanne, Jean-Paul (Carmel Gibbons), William (Margaret Ann Foran), Roger, André (Sharon Jean-Marie), Raymond (Irais Leon) and Michel (Karen Glandon, late Suzie Flipson). Greatly loved by 37 grandchildren, 59 great grand children and 1 great-great granddaughter. Gladys was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Church all her life from the time of her baptism. She loved her hockey and watched it attentively every chance she had. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her very much. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 1040 Clarendon Street, Quyon, Quebec on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Church on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
