Obituary of Vivian Anderson

Vivian (“Nicky”) M. Anderson (nee Mohr) passed away gently and peacefully in the early morning hours of December 3, 2014 in Cedar Hills, Utah. Born February 25, 1931 in Prescott Arizona, and majored in English at Mills College in Oakland, California. Her many travels took her throughout the US, and Canada, and as well she resided for several years in Southeast Asia. Nicky was predeceased by her parents, William and Vivian Mohr, and her partner, John Bulluss. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Darrel), Christopher (Jan), Eric (Rozelle) and Susan (Phil). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, and of course, her extended Mohr family in Ontario & Quebec. Nicky may have been short in stature, but her feisty and tenacious attitude towards anything is what made her most unique. Whether it was fighting City Hall against something she needed to see changed, or sitting on a local library board due to her love of reading, she always was most passionate in whatever she did, including her love of Newfie (Newfoundland) dogs, especially her own Dougal. She certainly saw some struggles in her lifetime, but she met them head-on and persevered. We used to laugh and say she actually was a reincarnated feline due to her comebacks from several serious illnesses. The family wishes to thank all those who have shared a spot in her life, and we appreciate all you have done for her. And a thank you to Hayes Funeral Home for their immense help in the process. Interment will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11 am in Mohr’s Cemetery, Wiggins Rd., Beechgrove, Quebec. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
