Life Legacy In hospital, Shawville, Quebec on April 1, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Phelan. Loving father of Ann, of Ottawa and Imelda, of Pembroke. Dear brother of Mae (Ken Conroy), of Sarnia, Ontario. Predeceased by sisters Marjorie Archambault (late Cletus), Sister Imelda C.S.J. and brother Frank (late Helen). Survived by sister-in-law Catherine (Clarence Turner) and predeceased by Philip Phelan (late Katie) and Sister Mary Alphonsus C.S.J. Fondly remembered by many, nieces, nephews and cousins. Joseph was well known for his dedication as an educator and administrator of the Pontiac School Board for over 28 years. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 7 at 11 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec.
