Obituary of Gabrielle Bertrand

Gabrielle Florence Bertrand, 74, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at the Shawville Hospital with her beloved family by her side. Born on April 3, 1941, at her home in l'île-du-Grand-Calumet. Daughter of Yvonne Gervais Hamelin and the late Prospère Hamelin. Loving sister of Lucille, Lillian, Gérard, Fern, and Lucien Hamelin. Predeceased by her loving husband Jackie Bertrand and her sweet son Peter. Utmost caring mother to Paul Bertrand (Gaetane Denault), Tim Bertrand (Julie Tourangeau), and Dana Bertrand (Gary Kuno). Dear grand-mother of Christopher Bertrand (Julie Laroche), Kayla Bertrand (Michael Walsh), Plake Bertrand and Avalon Bertrand. Sweet great-grand-mother of Macey Bertrand. She will always be remembered for her little secrets and enormous sense of humour in all of our hearts! Funeral Mass will be held in St-Pierre Catholic Church in Fort-Coulonge on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. In memoriam donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care would be appreciated.
