Obituary of Inez Ladouceur (nee Mousseau)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Inez Ladouceur (nee Mousseau) on Monday, April 15, 2024 in Shawville, Quebec at the age of 96.  She died peacefully, surrounded by her family.  Loving wife of the late Thomas Ladouceur and daughter of the late George Mousseau and Annie Turgeon.

Beloved mother of Isabel (late Jean-Paul Leblanc), late Sydney (late Lilliane Lance), late Helen (late Ronald Welburn), Yvon (Jeannine Gagné), Simon (Noëlla Pilon), Inez (Daniel Gagné), Lillias (James Howard), George (Patricia Bertrand), Wayne (Lisa Power) and Lise (Yves Martineau).  She was the cherished ‘Mémère’ to 28 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her sister Marilyn (late Roland Amyotte) and her brother Ellsworth (Leo).  She was predeceased by her brothers; Simon, Henry, Hilliard and sisters Anna Mae, Florence, Loretta and Marcella.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec at 11 a.m.  Interment parish cemetery.
