Obituary of Edgar Downey
In hospital, Val dOr, Quebec on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Son of the late Ed Downey & Ida Perreault. Beloved husband of the late Agnes Mulvey of Vinton. Dear brother of Mary Lapierre of Chapeau and Hazel McGuire of Pembroke. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. & Saturday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Funeral Saturday, January 3 to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Vinton, Quebec for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Fund would be appreciated.
