Obituary of Oscar Tourangeau

It is with deep sadness that the family of Oscar Tourangeau announces his sudden passing on November 4, 2022 in his 77th year.  Son of the late Alphonsine Fleury and Theodore Tourangeau.  Beloved husband of the late Denise Dubeau.  Loving father to Lynne (Roy Zimmerling), Daniel (Sherri Greer) and Gaétan (Joelle Forest).  Special Pepére to Nicole, Emma, Katelyn, Yann-Michel, Gym and Eric.  He is survived by his brother Edgar (Rose-Marie Lance), sisters Diane (Jean-Marie Lance), Claudette (Aurele Dumouchel), sister-in-law Alice Desjardins, brothers-in-law Jim Hass, Laurent Lance and special friend Phyllis Dubeau and many dear nieces and nephews and a wonderful circle of friends he has made along the way.  Predeceased by a brother Sylvio and sister Yvette and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  We will always remember his love for antiques, horses and farming. 

 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00-10:30 a.m.  Funeral Mass will follow in Immaculate Conception Church, Bryson, Quebec at 11 a.m.  Interment in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.  Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
