Obituary of Donald Zimmerling

Passed away in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on October 3, 2022 at the age of 78 years.  Dear son of the late Otto and Lena Zimmerling and stepson of the late Tousant Lance.  Loving brother of Alma, Geneva (Robert Kingdon), Gloria (Germain Chartrand), Ward, Roger and Wayne (Sally Lance) and predeceased by Gordon, Jeannine, Jewel, Bruce and Louis.  Dear uncle of Tracey, Lena, Carl, Claude, Peter, Cindy, Curtis, Colleen, Stephainie, Stephane, Kyle and late Arron .  He will be missed by his friends Lilian Weber, Phyllis Dubeau and Gary McGillis.  Donald loved his cats and were his pride and joy.  He loved to work hard in his youth and cut stove wood in his spare time.  Donald loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Argonauts and had many hockey rants.  He also loved fishing and being with friends and family and was loved by the people in the community.  He had a good heart and would help anyone in need.  When his siblings were younger he would buy them gifts at Sears.  A private service will be held for friends and family at a later date.
