Obituary of Alice Young

Passed away September 20th, 2014, in the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 98 years. She leaves behind her loving family, daughter Kitty (John Gibb), grandchildren Holly (Chris Heidel), Matthew (Kevin Glass), Chrissy (Andrew Lang) and Leslie (Stephen Gibb). Her four beautiful great grandchildren Gibbson and Elliott Lang, Sara Heidel and Zoe Gibb always brought a smile to her heart. Predeceased by parents Theodore Hodgins and Kate McLean. Alice spent her career as a teacher in many Quebec communities and worked in the supply depot in Halifax during World War ll. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service at this time. She will be in our hearts forever.
