Obituary of Erwin William Mohr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Erwin William Mohr of Pontiac, Quebec passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 72. He is survived by his children Derrick (Lisa), Karl, Kevin (Kate), Jaymie (Matt) and William (Kara), his 6 grandchildren, his loving companion Rita Payne and her children and great grandchildren as well as his sister Shirley-Mae Davis (Lorne Bradey) and his brother Fred (Linda). Erwin is predeceased by his wife Kathy Letts, his parents Charles Mohr and Elaine Hamilton, Lyle Bronson and his sister Winona. Erwin was born in Shawville, Quebec to Charles and Elaine on May 31, 1948. He continued the Mohr family tradition and went on to farming in the town of Quyon, Quebec. Erwin enjoyed the tranquility that the land had to offer and you could often see him travelling the roads in the Pontiac on his tractor doing what he loved to the best. The family wishes extend their gratitude to the Shawville Hospital, the doctors and the nurse who provided more than what was required. A memorial service will be held at the Mohr Cemetery on the second last Sunday of July 2021. Donations to the Mohr Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
