Obituary of Lorraine Isabelle Cave (nee Graham)

Lorraine entered Heaven, having finished her race on earth, in the early morning of Wednesday, April 15, 2020. She passed peacefully at home in Shawville in the loving care of her family and just a block from where she took her first breath on June 10, 1939. Lorraine was the loving wife to Gordon for 53 years and the faithful mother to Tracey Friesen (Dave) of Shawville, QC and Karen Burkhart (Matt) of Columbus, Ohio. Lorraine was the proud grandmother to four grandsons, Matthew, James, Tyler, and Colson, and the proud great-grandmother to Jamie. Lorraine was the eldest daughter of eight children born to Hillis and Isabelle Graham of Bristol. Lorraine was preceded in death by her infant sister, Phyllis, and her brothers, Jack Graham and Elgin Graham, and is survived by siblings, Doug Graham, Laird Graham, Ruth Beardsley, and Bevan Graham. Lorraine loved all and was loved by all. She cared deeply for people and was quick to listen and pray; eager for all to know Jesus, who was her constant and personal strength and hope. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Crossroads Christian Communications or the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
