Obituary of Violet Normandeau (nee Hearty)

Passed away peacefully at the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 89 years.  Daughter of the late Edward B. Hearty and the late Julianne Larue.  Loving wife of the late Jules Normandeau.  Beloved mother of Allan (Suzanne) of Bryson, Quebec, Norma (late Steven) of Kelowna, British Columbia, Peggy (Jimmy) of Aylmer, Quebec and Ricky (Stacey) of Ottawa, Ontario.  Left to mourn is her only surviving brother Garry and sister-in-law Shirley (late Ronnie), brothers-in-law Roland (Irene), Eugene (Leda) and her dearest friend Isabelle Kluke.  Cherished grandmother of Cindy, Jason, Shelly, Lindsay, Justin, Crystal, Jonathan, Vanessa and Daniel.  Great-grandmother of Nathan, Amber, Olivia, Alisha, Morgan, Allie, Tori, Evan, Selena, Cody, Brantley, Kayden and Kylie.  Predeceased by her brothers Melbourne, Raymond (WWII), Léonard (WWII), Herbie (WWII), Ronnie and sisters Loretta, Lily, Eva, Marion, Mildred and Linda.  Violet will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 19, 2019 in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Vinton, Quebec at 11 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.   Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Pontiac Community Hospital - Palliative Care Unit or the St. Elizabeth Parish Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
