Obituary of Emily Grace McDowell (née Dagg)

Peacefully, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Neil Dwight McDowell. Predeceased by her parents, John Dagg and Ethel Lang as well as her three daughters, Frances Myre, Jean McDowell and Colleen McDowell. She will be missed tremendously by her granddaughter, Amber (Dan Weatherup) and her great granddaughter, Gillian Frances, who she adored. Dear sister of Hazel (Sonny Turcotte), Claire (Joe McGoey) and Lorraine (late Lloyd Telford). Predeceased by brother, Cyril. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 12 to 1 p.m. Funeral to follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
