Obituary of Ronald "Ronnie" Bennett
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Bennett on March 6th 2024 at the age of 81. Beloved brother of John (Carole Chartrand), Betty (Fernand Chartrand), Dennis, Mary Theresa, and Joseph (Betty Hickey). Predeceased by his parents Joseph Bennett and Mary Law, his sister Grace Bennett and his niece Christina Emmerson. Loved by his many nieces and nephews.
Ronnie considered himself an avid gardener and often bragged about how well his garden would grow and then generously sharing his harvest with others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar and a good euchre game.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the Pontiac Community Hospital healthcare professionals for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Ronnie’s longtime friend Harry Dale, his neighbours and Donna Robitaille for their support and friendship which have been a constant in his life, a guiding light that helped him navigate through ups and downs.
A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
