Obituary of Francis "Frank" Retty

It is with profound sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Frank on Monday, January 15^th 2024 after a stoic battle with metastatic melanoma. Loving husband of Janet Retty (nee Morris). Proud father of Shawn (Mary), Andrew (Pauline) and Anne Marie (Jim Thompson). Adoring grandpa of Teagan, Shannon, Patrick, Allison, Shamus and Genevieve. Brother of Teresa Retty. Predeceased by his parents Harry Retty and Christel McDonald, his brother Donald and his sister Shirley Tremblay. Frank will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A Knights of Columbus service will that place at 7 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 25 in St. Paul the Hermit Church, Sheenboro, Quebec at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in Harrington Hall, Chapeau. Donations to St. Paul the Hermit Church or the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
