Obituary of Sheldon Hermas Ostrom

The Country Music Hall of Fame is

Proud to Welcome

Sheldon Ostrom

1990 – 2017

Sheldon Hermas “CC” Ostrom of Bryson, Quebec, born April 26, 1990

Peacefully, surrounded by his dad, Eldon, mommie Grace and brother Kenny and extended family Sue McKay and Charleen Aubertin and all his country music friends on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Ottawa Heart Institute at the age of 27 years old.

Survived by his loving Grandmother, Madeline Ostrom of Bryson, Quebec, his dogs Tiffany and Trisha, his cat Mickey and his beloved teletubbies, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, Po and Tinky Winky.

Predeceased by his Grampa Ostrom and uncles Billy and Barry and his Godfather, Murray Ostrom (who always wrote in his cards how proud he was of him).  Also predeceased by Grannie and Grampa Beauchamp and Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Dickie Beauchamp.  He also leaves to mourn numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Sheldon was so fortunate to have people in his life that helped out so much with his disability of Autism.  We would especially like to thank Donna Richard, Sheldon’s first caregiver, Linda Malenfant, CLSC Pontiac, Donna Cahill and Deb Stephens and their staff at PHS, Nancy and her staff at Continuing Education and Germaine Lacroix and the staff of the Day Centre in Fort-Coulonge.  Also, his best friends Chrissy Draper, Stevie Harper and Auntie Midget Gagnon.

Sheldon touched the lives of so many people with his gift of Autism and his extreme passion for Country Music.

Sheldon is now in Country Music heaven with all his friends.  That was his passion.  That was his life.  Private family cremation.  Arrangements entrusted to Hayes Funeral Home, Shawville.

Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation in Sheldon’s memory can send it to Eldon & Grace Ostrom, 520 Route #148, Bryson, Quebec, J0X1H0. The funding will then go to establish and install a mushroom water splash pad at the PATRO. This gift of flowing water will live on in Sheldon’s memory for the kids to enjoy for many years to come.

After the return of cremated remains to Sheldon’s home at 520 Rte 148, Bryson, Quebec, we, as a family would encourage all loyal and true friends and family members to come and say goodbye to Sheldon in his country music museum.  Anyone who would like to come over, please call us at home at 819-648-2078, Grace’s cell 819-647-8412 or Eldon’s cell 613-602-0079.

Happy trails to you,

Until we meet again.

Happy trails to you,

Keep smiling until then.

Who cares about the clouds when we’re together?

Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.

Happy trails to you,

Until we meet again.

We will always love you Sheldon
