Obituary of Maxine Fenton (nee Wilson)

Maxine Phyllis (Wilson) Fenton, in her 81st year, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Pontiac Reception Centre in Shawville, Quebec. She married her best friend, William Fenton, and resided in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. In 1966 they moved to Campbell's Bay, where they opened and operated a gas station & fuel oil business. In 1990 Maxine graduated with honours from the food services supervisor diploma program at the Kemptville campus of the University of Guelph. She started a career in the food services department at Marionhill in Pembroke, as well as operating her own catering company. Maxine is affectionately remembered by her children Linda (Richard) Moore, Kathryn (Terry) Graham, Cheryl (Gilbert) Dubeau and William (Ann) Fenton. Loving Grandmother to Richinda (Jamie) Bates, Rick (Christy) Moore, Tylor (Christie) Graham, Ryan Graham, Marc (Kristen) Dubeau, Philip (Christina) Dubeau. Cherished Great-Grandmother to Emma and Erika Bates, Fionna and Liam Nicol, Lila Graham, Jack and Lyndon Graham, McKenna and Benny Dubeau. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Pontiac Reception Centre Foundation or the Pontiac Lions Club in Campbell's Bay. A private Family service will be held at a later date.
