Obituary of Jean Maxwell (nee Sparling)

It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Maxwell announce her passing on Monday, June 21, 2021 in the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus with her family by her side. Jean Gladys Grace Maxwell (nee Sparling) was born September 13, 1940 in Thorne, Quebec. Daughter of the late Gorden Sparling and the late Bernice Stephens. Dear wife of the late George Maxwell. Loving mother of Danny (Amanda), Kim (Sam), Brian, Jamie and Dean. Cherished grandmother of Ben, Hailey, Hudson, Noah, Riley, Timmy, Tina (Steve), Brandon and Zackery and great grandmother of Lyla. Jean will be sadly missed by her brother Gilbert (lat Mary). Predecased by her sisters Vera, Valera and Margaret. Jean leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. followed by graveside service in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Otter Lake, Quebec at 1 p.m.
