Obituary of Elizabeth "Kate" McCallum (nee Wright)

July 18, 1939 - October 9, 2020 Elizabeth “Kate” passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Pontiac Communty Hospital, Shawville, Quebec on October 9, 2020 at the age of 81. Daughter of the late Foster and Florence Wright. Wife of the late Clarence McCallum. Loving mother of Jacqueline McCallum and the late Kelly McCallum Lebrun. Cherished grandmother of Sarah Craig Walker and Joshua Lebrun. Predeceased by her sister Norma (late Ernest) and her brother Ronald (Cindy). Beloved sister to Gladys (Harry), Albert (late Helena), Beulah, Viola (Jim), Arleen (Harold), David (Nancy) and Norman (Jennifer). Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. A private service will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Interment to follow in Portage-du-Fort at a later date. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Pontiac Community Hospital, TranspoAction, especially Jill Towns, the girls at the Dialysis Unit and Préposé Lucie Lozier for going above and beyond.
