Obituary of Richard Sanftenberg

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard “Rick”, on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. He was the son of the late Marcella Stafford and Harold Sanftenberg. Father of Sarah and Schuyler. Brother of Mary Lou. Grandfather of Makenna, Miranda, Melodie and Jaxon. Rick will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rick was happiest when he had visitors pop in for a chat and see how he was doing. He loved to chat on the phone with his aunts and reminisce about the good old days. He had such a huge smile when his grandchildren came for a visit and got up on his lap and gave him big hugs. Rick had great joy with his birds, they were his companions. Rest in peace Rick, now you can be with your Mom. Interment will take place in the spring.
