Obituary of Alvin Romain

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the age of 84. Son of the late Chester Romain and the late Louise Leroux. Devoted husband after 60 wonderful years of marriage to Laurina Romain (nee Pleau). Loving father of the late Michael, Cathy (Kenny), Debbie (Denis), Timmy (Natacha) and Tommy (Valerie). Special and adored grandfather of Christopher, Rodney, Sally-Ann, Thalia, Michael, Brayden, Connor, Darren, Holly, Troy and great grandfather of Makenzie, Carson, Ellie, Alec, Liv and Levy. Brother of Evans, Judy, Helen and Lynn. Predeceased by his brothers Garry, Ebert and Ray. Alvin will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family wishes to thank you the staff at the CLSC for their excellent service and especially to Sylvie Boisvert for the home care provided to Alvin. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 195 rue Priincipale, Fort-Coulonge, Quebec on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass in église St-Pierre at 11 a.m. Interment of Alvin’s remains will be in the spring in St-Pierre Cemetery, Mansfield, Quebec.
