Obituary of Lorraine Roy

We sadly announce the passing of Lorraine Roy on January 1st, 2020 at the age of 75. For many years she was married to Gerry Walsh and was a loving mother to her 6 children Brian (Linda), Shawn, Debbie (Gilles), James (Sue), Christine (Bryan) and Martin (Sean). Born and raised in Bristol QC, she moved to Ottawa to raise her family. She was the proud daughter of the late Emmerson and Beatrice Roy; a devoted sister to Ronald, Daniel (Elizabeth), Michael, Cherylene (Denis), Douglas (Barb), Margaret, Cathy. She cherished and loved her 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who will all miss their Nanny every day. Our hearts will never forget her kindness, love and generosity. We welcome everyone to attend a special service at St. Edwards Church in Bristol QC on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at Pine Lodge, 6 Chemin de Pine Lodge, Bristol, QC. Donations can be made to the CHEO Hospital Foundation in honour of her memory.
