Obituary of Evelyn Joan Kavanagh

Peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on December 7, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Beloved daughter of the late Dorothy Kavanagh. She will be missed by her dear friends Christena and Gord. She was compassionately cared for by Lise, Louise and Natasha of the CLSC in Shawville. Evelyn worked many years for Agriculture Canada and a volunteer for the St. John Ambulance Brigade.  She was the owner of KAVNOOK campground for many years, where she also cared for and loved her many animals, dogs, cats, and her pig. Evelyn loved the peace and tranquility of the woods and her home on McKay Lake. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Pontiac Community Hospital who took such good care of Evelyn during her illness.  A private service will be held.
