Obituary of Colleen Normandeau (nee Clouthier)

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Colleen Virginia Normandeau (nee Clouthier). After a feisty and courageous battle with cancer, she succumbed to the disease on Valentine's Day at the General Hospital, Ottawa, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of 49 years of Roger, proud mother of Laurie (Shawn Brady) and very proud grandmother of Kelsey and Tyler Brady. She will be dearly missed by her sisters Darla (Don Doucette), Gail (Carl Day), Leah (Mark Ainslie) and many "special" nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Paul Clouthier and Justine Clouthier (nee Jennings). Colleen had a very successful 35 year career in the automotive leasing industry, making many friends in the National Capital area. Everyone who knew Colleen can vouch that she was full of spirit, loved life and lived her final days like Tim McGraw's "live like you were dying". Nothing was going to stop her from traveling. She fought right to her final breath. Many thanks to the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital and Dr Goindi. Funeral service will be held in St. Mary's Church, Quyon, Quebec on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
