On Saturday, October 28, 2017 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Stewart. Loving mother of Linda (Richard Wood), Gayle (late Phillipe Dumouchel), Lois (Victor Dumouchel), Sally (Richard La Salle) and Wendy (Denis Dufault) and predeceased by daughter, Helen (Renaud Dumouchel). Adored Nanny and Grandma of 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and predeceased by great-grandson, Koleton. Daughter of the late Harold Brown and Iona Hawthorne. Survived by sisters Ruth (Irvin Beattie) and Dorothy (late Edgar Schwartz) and predeceased by Earl, Elva (late Ross), Greta (Gord Sheargold), Denzil (late Merl) and Mona (Val Dix). Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Funeral will follow in Shawville United Church at 1 p.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
