Obituary of Dr. Grant Rogers

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Grant, on June 26, 2017 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 75 years.  Beloved husband of Ann Smith for 53 years.  Loving father of Heather (Paul Yolkowskie) and Brian (Janet Sharpe).  Proud Grandpa of Hannah, Shannon and Jacob.  Dear brother of Keith (Susan), Stuart, Richard (Shelley) and Jean (Bob Cunningham) and predeceased by brother George (Lorna).  He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Dr. Grant was a veterinarian for many years and was a very active member of the community, volunteering his time for many organizations including the Shawville Lions Club, Armstrong Heritage Farm and Animal Aide Pontiac. 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral will be held in Shawville United Church, 410 Main St., Shawville, Quebec on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Villa James Shaw or Animal Aide Pontiac or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
