Obituary of Iona Morris (nee McGuire)

Peacefully, at home in Sheenboro, Quebec with her family by her side, on June 11, 2017, at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of Raymond Morris for 61 years. Loving mother of Susanne (late John Lapierre), Bonnie (Tony Kime), Shamus (Joanne), Erin (Terry Morris) and Colleen (Rob Schilkie). Cherished Granny of 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Thomas McGuire and Susan Cox and brothers Sylvester (late Doreen), Bert (Pinky), and Billy. Survived by sister-in-law Patricia Morris (Mickey Morris). Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 56 St. Jacques Street, Chapeau, Quebec on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul the Hermit Church, Sheenboro, Quebec on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Parish Cemetery.  Donations to the Meilleur Residence would be appreciated.
